About Me
Stansbury Park-based. Hands-on work. Plain-English results.
Why I started Sentry Peak
I'm Anden Wickstrand, a computer engineering student based in Stansbury Park. I use advanced tooling and methodologies to find real security problems in healthcare practices' digital footprints.
Technology is my passion and I'm building my name. I started Sentry Peak because I noticed small healthcare practices have nobody looking at this stuff. They're required by law to protect patient data, but most have never had anyone actually check.
My approach is simple: show up, find the real problems, explain them plainly, and fix them. Every assessment follows NIST SP 800-30 and the HHS Security Risk Assessment Tool the same methodology HHS recommends.
Assessments follow NIST SP 800-30 and the HHS Security Risk Assessment Tool. The same methodology HHS recommends, not proprietary checkbox software.
I assess and remediate in the same engagement. You get the audit-ready documentation and the actual fixes, not a PDF full of problems with no one to solve them.
Everything is explained in plain language so you can understand your own security posture and make informed decisions about your practice.
How I conduct assessments
My assessments follow NIST SP 800-30, the risk assessment methodology recommended by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and use the HHS Security Risk Assessment Tool as a structured framework. Full assessments cover all three HIPAA safeguard categories:
Risk analysis, workforce security, access management, security awareness training, incident response procedures, contingency planning, BAA compliance
Facility access controls, workstation use and security, device and media disposal, maintenance records
Access control, audit logging, data integrity verification, person and entity authentication, transmission encryption
The deliverable is a written risk assessment document with findings mapped to HIPAA Security Rule standards –the documentation OCR looks for during an audit.
